Harley-Davidson® is taking its legendary baggers to the world stage.
In an exciting new partnership with MotoGP™, the American motorcycle icon will launch a global racing championship featuring race-prepped Road Glide® motorcycles, debuting in 2026. The 12-race series will run across six Grand Prix weekends in Europe and North America, with two races per round.
Every bike in the series will be identical—engineered by Harley-Davidson Factory® Racing for head-to-head competition. Weighing 617 pounds and producing over 200 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque, these machines can reach speeds of more than 186 mph.
The grid will feature 6–8 teams, each with two riders, supported by the Harley-Davidson Factory Racing team.
“This is a bold new step for Harley-Davidson’s racing ambitions,” said Jochen Zeitz, Chairman, President and CEO of Harley-Davidson. “We’re bringing a new form of racing to the world stage—celebrating our heritage while charging into the future.”
MotoGP rights holder Dorna Sports is equally enthusiastic about the partnership.
“This collaboration will deliver a real spectacle for fans,” said Dorna CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta. “It brings a completely new flavor to Grand Prix weekends.”
